How My Past Life Drives Me To Chase My Dreams Now
Every dream starts off with a purpose or a thought. We reflect on those dreams often, wishing and hoping for it to become reality. Dreams are not developed by the influence of others. Its one's desire to achieve something big in life.
I was very determined in achieving my dreams that even if I had to burn the midnight oil and not keep up with my favorite television show, I would! Well in fact,I did. All those sacrifices and effort was worth it after all and did not go to waste as I achieved my dream.I managed to get straight A's in my SPM examination and thinking about it now, I am glad I decided to challenge myself by setting a high goal to achieve. I am genuinely proud of every step I took in reaching my dream. This was when I realized that dreams do come true after all.
I personally had a hard time figuring out what my dream was as I was lost and very unsure about my future.Especially when I was in high school, I wasn't the top student in my class nor was I great at sports. It had never crossed my mind back then that I should have a dream or an aim in what I want to do in life. All that mattered to me was to just have fun.
Unfortunately, things had gotten really difficult for me as I hadn't paid much attention to my studies causing me to not perform well in my public examination in Form 3. I was not pleased with my results and was devastated. That was when all those thoughts about goals and dreams flooded my mind. Ever since that day, I promised myself to keep working hard and achieve that one goal of mine at that stage of time which was to get straight A's in my SPM examination. It felt like I had set the bar too high for myself but I did not let any kind of negativity drive me away from my goals.
It has been said that every beginning call for a new dream.Well I have just begun a new chapter of my life, exploring and adventuring into the university world. And you guessed it right,I now have a new dream, a new goal that I am more than ever ready to achieve.I am ready to perform exceptionally well in my pre-university course and I am looking forward to pursue my studies in the school of medicine.
Drawing things into a close,I will continue to dream and strive for bigger and better heights in the future. And most importantly I wish to keep believing in my dreams despite all the challenges and obstacle thrown at me on way to success.As the saying goes, nothing in life comes easy. I will keep working towards my dreams until it becomes reality.💖
